What is your educational background? I graduated from China University of Geosciences, Beijing, with a Bachelor’s degree of science in Geology.
Why did you choose this program? UW-Madison is a prestigious school located in a city with pleasant scenery. The MSFE program can help equip students with new knowledge and skills of the industry.
What has been your favorite thing to do in Madison or what is your favorite part about living in Madison? I love to walk along the lake, take photos or just talk with people.
What has been your favorite class or what are you most looking forward to taking? Right now, every professor of mine has been knowledgeable and helpful. I’m looking forward to more courses that combine financial economics with other subjects such as mathematics and computer science, which is becoming more and more common in the industry.
What are your career aspirations? I want to achieve a career goal of making good use of my nature science knowledge and financial economics skills.
