Biography
What is your educational background? I have a dual bachelor’s degree in engineering (Biological Engineering) and management (Financial Management) from Tianjin University of Science and Technology.
Why did you choose the MSFE program at UW–Madison? The MSFE program is a good introduction to my financial career, since it combines both my engineering analytical skills and financial background. And of course, I have access to courses from two departments so I can study finance in a quantitative way.
What is your favorite thing to do in Madison? I enjoy swimming in the Olympic-size pool at the Nicholas Recreation Center. And I really love the beautiful scenery of a frozen lake glittering in the sunshine, even though it is very cold in winter.
What has been your favorite class or what are you most looking forward to taking? I am excited to take Financial Econometrics and Corporate Finance.
What are your career aspirations? I am interested in PhD research.
