What is your educational background? I attended the University of Connecticut as an undergraduate, majoring in Economics.
Why did you choose this program? Influenced first by my parents, who were in international business, I learned about the dynamic global business market and became interested in the international economic situation and the theory of economic principles. Secondly, although my undergraduate major is economics, I am also very interested in financial markets, and my future career goal is to become an economic analyst or financial analyst in a bank, securities, futures, or fund company, so the MSFE program is very much in line with my learning and development goals.
What is your favorite thing to do in Madison or what is your favorite part about living in Madison? Going to the gym or playing basketball; enjoying the view and drinking beer by the lake.
What has been your favorite class or what are you most looking forward to taking? Financial Econometrics
What are your career aspirations? Becoming a financial analyst.
