What is your educational background? I studied in the finance department of Central University of Finance and Economics in China
Why did you choose this program? I plan to continue learning financial economics. When I was an undergraduate in China, my teacher told me that some courses were taught primarily only in the United States. UW-Madison is rich in academic resources, and I am also looking forward to studying abroad, which can bring me financial knowledge under another culture.
What is your favorite thing to do in Madison or what is your favorite part about living in Madison? I enjoy daily life and find some cultural behavior is different from my hometown. I especially look forward to western festival activities.
What has been your favorite class or what are you most looking forward to taking? I’m looking forward to courses related to behavioral finance.
What are your career aspirations? My career aspiration is to work as a financial analyst in Shanghai, China.
