What is your educational background? I pursued a degree in finance at the University of South Carolina.
Why did you choose this program? I chose the MSFE program because it seamlessly integrates economics and econometrics with finance. Given the evolving landscape of policies and regulations in the financial industry, this program equips me with the most advanced tools in economics and econometrics to address complex financial challenges.
What is your favorite thing to do in Madison or what is your favorite part about living in Madison? I particularly appreciate living in close proximity to Madison’s State Street. It’s a safe and vibrant area, and its proximity to my classes is highly convenient.
What has been your favorite class or what are you most looking forward to taking? My favorite class thus far has been the one centered on risk avoidance, as it introduces interesting and practical investment strategies. I’m eagerly looking forward to further courses related to investments.
What are your career aspirations? My ultimate career aspiration is to establish my own company in the field of investment or finance, allowing me to cultivate expertise in my preferred domain.
