I earned my Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from VIT Vellore, India. The MSFE program at UW-Madison appeals to me for several compelling reasons. The program’s multidisciplinary approach, which integrates economics with data visualization and analysis, appears to be unique. The distinguished faculty and their research excellence further influenced my decision. Furthermore, the on-campus networking events with potential recruiters provide exceptional opportunities for career development and industry connections. I am most looking forward to taking Derivative Securities, Corporate Finance, and Investment Theory. These courses form the foundational pillars for both professional practice and advanced research in finance, providing essential knowledge that I will apply throughout my career.
After graduation, I aspire to contribute to the financial industry in an analyst role, with a strong focus on leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning for financial applications. My goal is to apply quantitative and research skills to analyze and innovate across various financial instruments. I am eager to work in a dynamic environment where I can continuously learn and adapt to the evolving landscape of financial technology.
One of my favorite things to do in Madison is to stroll and run along the scenic paths of Lake Mendota.
