What is your educational background? I have a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Research in Nagpur, India.
Why did you choose this program? I am interested in the MSFE program at UW-Madison because it aligns with my goal of applying banking and investment concepts in a practical setting, which will benefit me both personally and professionally.
What is your favorite thing to do in Madison or what is your favorite part about living in Madison? One of my favorite things about Madison is its beautiful lakes, where I enjoy water sports such as sailing and surfing. Lake Mendota and Devil’s Lake are particularly attractive to me.
What has been your favorite class or what are you most looking forward to taking? Currently, my favorite class is Finance 720 (Investment Theory and Practice), which covers the fundamentals of trading and also allows me to learn Python.
What are your career aspirations? My career aspiration is to become an economist and work in the financial sector.
