What is your educational background? I graduated from Zhejiang University of Technology, where I majored in Finance. After graduation, I worked at Guotai Jun’an, one of the leading securities firms in China. This experience gave me valuable exposure to the financial industry and deepened my passion for finance.

Why did you choose the MSFE program at UW-Madison? My passion for finance, combined with my desire to learn in a global environment, led me to choose the MSFE program at UW-Madison. The financial landscape in the United States offers immense opportunities for learning and growth. I believe that the rigorous curriculum and the exposure to the U.S. financial market will significantly enhance my expertise.

What is your favorite thing to do in Madison or what is your favorite part about living in Madison? I love spending time by the lakes and enjoying the beautiful landscapes in Madison. Watching the aurora and experiencing the natural beauty here has been one of my favorite things to do.

What has been your favorite class or what are you most looking forward to taking? I am really looking forward to learning more about stock market management and portfolio optimization. I believe these skills will be crucial as I continue to build my career in finance.

What are your career aspirations? My goal is to become a skilled financial analyst, with a focus on investment management. I aspire to use the knowledge I gain from the MSFE program to make strategic investment decisions and contribute to the success of financial institutions. Ultimately, I want to help individuals and organizations manage their wealth and achieve their financial goals.
