What is your educational background? I earned my bachelor’s degree in finance at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Why did you choose this program? I think the MSFE program at UW-Madison is an extraordinary program that combines knowledge from both finance and economics. The comprehensive system allows me to have a deeper understanding of both.
What has been your favorite thing to do in Madison or what is your favorite part about living in Madison? Walking along the lake at dusk and watching evening sunsets is the most enjoyable thing to me about living in Madison. It always makes me refreshed and makes me feel that all the difficulties I went through were worth it.
What has been your favorite class or what are you most looking forward to taking? Investment Theory and Practice is my favorite class so far because I think using Python to solve financial problem is fascinating.
What are your career aspirations? I am not sure what I will do in the future. The only thing I know for sure is that I want to be outstanding in my field of interest and work for my interest rather than a living.
