What is your educational background? I studied at Beijing Technology and Business University for my bachelor’s degree, and I majored in Trade Economy.
Why did you choose this program? UW-Madison is an outstanding university in the world. It has a great location, excellent educational resources, and a comfortable environment.
What is your favorite thing to do in Madison or what is your favorite part about living in Madison? I enjoy taking walks by the lakeside, trying various cuisines at restaurants, shopping with friends, and watching musicals.
What has been your favorite class or what are you most looking forward to taking? I really enjoy the course on investment theory. The teaching videos recorded by the professor are very engaging, making it easy for students without a finance background to understand. In each class, he takes us through a review of the key concepts, which helps to reinforce our understanding. These financial theory concepts are highly practical in real life.
What are your career aspirations? After graduation, I plan to return to my hometown and join a foreign-owned company to work in roles related to financial analysis.
