What is your educational background? I studied economics at Ocean University of China. There I learned basic economic principles as well as some statistics.
Why did you choose this program? I understand this program will not only help us learn the theoretical knowledge of finance and economics, but also teach us how to apply this knowledge in practice, which I think will be very helpful for future employment.
What is your favorite thing to do in Madison or what is your favorite part about living in Madison? My favorite place is at Lake Mendota. I feel relaxed and free here.
What has been your favorite class or what are you most looking forward to taking? I’m most looking forward to taking Finance 720 (Investment Theory and Practice). The teacher is conscientious and responsible, and releases preview content in advance to help me better understand the content in the class. I lack a background in finance so this class will help me in the future.
What are your career aspirations? My career aspiration is to promote economic development and solve social problems through the financial industry. At the same time, I also want to take my career to the next level!
