
What is your educational background? I completed my undergraduate degree at UW-Madison, where I double majored in Finance, Investment, and Banking, as well as Economics.
Why did you choose the MSFE program at UW-Madison? I chose the MSFE program at UW-Madison because it perfectly balances my passion for both finance and economics. On top of that, the program’s flexibility, catering to both PhD and professional students, allows me to explore both academic and practical aspects of finance, which I find incredibly valuable.
What is your favorite thing to do in Madison or what is your favorite part about living in Madison? My favorite activities in Madison are playing pickup soccer at the Near West fields and exploring the beautiful forests around campus through long nature hikes. The city’s connection to nature is something I absolutely love!
What has been your favorite class or what are you most looking forward to taking? I’m really looking forward to taking FIN 830 (Advanced Derivative and Fixed-Income Securities). Having loved my undergrad derivatives class, I’m excited to dive deeper into this advanced material.
What are your career aspirations? I’m aiming to become a finance professor, where I can combine my love for learning with the excitement of shaping future minds in finance.
