I earned my bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Utah State University. I also completed a master’s degree in Economics at UW–Madison, and I am now beginning the MSFE program here. I chose the MSFE program because it provides a strong combination of economics and finance. I want to deepen my understanding of financial markets and gain more practical skills that will help me in a professional career. I am especially looking forward to courses in asset pricing and banking, since they connect directly to my interests in finance and financial institutions. My goal is to pursue a career in the banking or financial industry, focusing on areas such as risk management, investment, or corporate finance. I hope to use the knowledge and perspective I gain from the MSFE program to support my future work in finance.
