What is your educational background? I graduated from Zhengzhou University in China, with a major in Fintech.
Why did you choose this program? I was looking to learn finance in a more quantitative way, as financial developments are grounded in economics. Combining these lessons can help me better understand finance.
What is your favorite thing to do in Madison or what is your favorite part about living in Madison? I enjoy walking alongside Lake Mendota and indulging in ice cream.
What has been your favorite class or what are you most looking forward to taking? So far, my favorite class has been Derivative Securities, which allowed us to engage in interesting paper trading using various investment strategies.
What are your career aspirations? I’m aspiring to become a financial analyst, utilizing data to support financial decision-making.
